Chapter 5 Flag Education

DAV James L. Whitby Chapter 5 Hot Springs members recently presented a Flag Education Program to the Lake Hamilton Intermediate School 5th Grade. On hand for the event were members Karren Blankenship, Ben Blankenship, Rick Martin, Benny Arego, Mike Sharp, Bill Bucklew, and Kevin Tuohy & Gene Rasure. Twenty American flags were displayed ranging from the American Revolutionary War up to today’s 50 star flag. After the program the members handed a small American flag to each of the 375 students thanks to a generous donation by the Hot Springs National Park Dental Group.
